This is an extremely scarce and valuable piece coming from an old English private collection from aprivate archaeological digg done in the 1970's in Cornwall (near St. Yves) in a Dumnonii settlement. This piece date back between 800 B.C. and 450 B.C. which corresponds to the Halstatt C period. It is important to note that this piece is a remarkable and valuable item that prooves a direct link between Geometric greece art / Halstatt art and Britain's native tribes such as Dumnonii which provenance is still largely unknown.
Width: ca. 15cm
A huge example with astonishing geometrical shape very scarce. I haven't seen another example so far.
